Pepper X, developed by Ed Currie, is the world’s hottest pepper with 2,693,000 Scoville units, surpassing Carolina Reaper. This wrinkled, green-yellow pepper, created after more than ten years of cross-breeding, is mainly used in hot sauces such as ‘The Last Dab’. The seeds are not yet publicly available, as Currie protects them to prevent unauthorised reproduction.
